About Lesley Myrick
Hailing from Canada with British heritage and now living in the United States, Lesley Myrick is a self-taught artist with an honors diploma in interior design from Sheridan College. Her strength is curating existing elements and arranging them from a unique design perspective so the whole becomes greater than the sum of its parts. Her dynamic interiors are a livable mix of vintage and modern, rustic and polished, color and neutrals, masculine and feminine, acclaimed for their offbeat edge.
She’s got God to thank for her creativity and passion for design, as she’s one of the lucky few who’s known she wanted to be an interior designer since childhood. Lesley is big on adventures – in both her designs and in life. At age 25 she put her business on pause for a year and toured the US, Canada, and Taiwan as a vocalist with a music ministry. International travel has greatly shaped her perspective of design, as has living in three states, one province, and two countries.
Lesley has been featured in notable media outlets including California Home + Design, House Beautiful, and Apartment Therapy. Her 11 years of industry experience includes clientele in Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, Washington D.C., and central Texas.
Her styling and art directing has been featured both in print and online for Lamps Plus and 55 Downing Street, and in print for Style at Home magazine. Her collage art has been commissioned for album covers, apparel graphics, and private collections.
Since 2015 Lesley has called Waco, Texas home, and she’s quickly established herself as local design force to be reckoned with. Lesley is the Principal of Lesley Myrick Art + Design – voted one of Waco’s top interior design services – and is the monthly home columnist for Wacoan magazine.
