Waco, Texas | Eclectic Bungalow

An eclectic and colorful 1950s bungalow in the heart of Waco, designed for a young family transplanted to central Texas from Los Angeles. He’s a musician and PhD student with a love for industrial elements and reclaimed wood; she’s a designer and artist who loves classic chesterfield sofas and is psyched to take design risks. Their bright and offbeat space blends black and white pattern with pops of color – and the right mix of white, wood, and vintage brick to keep the bold and bright elements balanced.

Meaningful personal touches woven into the space include a Union Jack pillow found in the UK on their travels, a signed vinyl record album by her favorite band; and a framed program from his master’s thesis presentation.

Project featured on HGTVApartment Therapy, LoHud Journal News, and Livingston Daily.
