  • Educate Yourself: Attend art fairs, exhibitions, and galleries, especially while traveling (some of my favorite pieces were picked up at independent galleries, street fairs, and boutiques while abroad). Get familiar with different styles and periods until you find what truly resonates with you.
  • Plan Your Investment: Art can vary widely in price. Decide on a price point that allows you to purchase pieces that are meaningful without breaking the bank; also consider the additional investment for custom framing.
  • Seek Professional Advice: Don’t hesitate to consult with art advisors or interior designers who specialize in art curation. They can provide valuable insights and access to artworks.
