Southern With a Colorful Twist in Macon, GA
Living in the South doesn't have to mean stuffy, formal, or traditional! We designed this bold and colorful home in Macon, Georgia for a professional couple with two young kids. While the exterior of the home might be simple and streamlined, the interior features juxtaposes Southern-style architecture with punches of bold peacock blue, fuchsia, and yellow. Neutrals like textured wood, brass, and cognac leather create a comfortable balance.
Eclectic MidCentury Ranch in Waco, TX
This quirky Mid-Century ranch home in Waco, Texas had some "charming" attributes - dark wood-paneled walls and an original kitchen - that we quickly updated with a coat of crisp white paint. Crown molding was added throughout, as was applied molding in the bedrooms to bring more interest to a boring box. A punchy palette of teal and yellow runs throughout the home, and patterned accents bring visual excitement without overwhelming.
Colorful Modern Farmhouse in Waco, TX
While this modern farmhouse no longer has faux shiplap (we tore it down at the client's request!) the rustic barn doors bring farmhouse charm and soften the white and blue modern kitchen. A poorly-designed peninsula was replaced with an oversize island with quartz countertops, perfect for this family's three young kids. Brass pendant lights add a glamorous element of contrast.
Cheerful Family Home in Waco, TX
An entrepreneurial mama needed a funky and colorful office to share with her 3 school-aged kids, and also wanted a comfy and inviting living room with enough seating to host all of her favorite people in one place. A large-and-in-charge 14' diameter custom sectional (upholstered in a durable, kid-friendly fabric) is punctuated with colorful oversize pillows, while the office is decked out in her dream color palette of electric pink, turquoise, white, and brass. Oh, and we transformed her boring stairwell with wallpaper too!
MidCentury Master Bedroom in Waco, TX
Our clients came to us with a grey faux-leather bed and grey shag rug they loved...and that was it. This room was a boring grey box with none of the energy and zest that this cool couple had. We paired an oversize floral wallpaper in mustard, mint, and metallic gold with a graphic midcentury diamond print on custom window treatments. Clean and graphic hotel-style bedding grounds the space.
