Spring has arrived (along with a lot of pollen), and we’re busy bees here at Lesley Myrick Interior Design. Many of our Macon, Georgia interior design projects take a year or more to complete, and it’s hard to wait for projects to be finished to share what we’re up to!

Here’s a peek at several of our interior design projects that are in process, due to be completed by the end of the year.

PROJECT #1: Modern Macon Bungalow

This is our third project for this fab client – we previously completed the bedrooms and bathrooms in her main home, along with her hotel-chic poolside guest house. Now, we’re completing the remainder of her main home, which includes the living room, dining room, and kitchen.

The 3D renderings are below, and the remodel is currently underway!

PROJECT #2: Broadway Lofts

The lounge, leasing offices, fitness center and bathrooms of downtown Macon’s Broadway Lofts are getting an upgrade! A bold mural, custom iron and glass arched doors, Mid-Century inspired furnishings, original art from Macon artist Joe Adams, and a coffee bar are going to make this hip downtown loft property even more desirable.

This project is currently under construction, with furniture delivery and styling coming soon.

PROJECT #3: Ladies Lounge Makeover

We recently completed a VIP Design Day for a lovely local client with the most stunning 10,000-square-foot home. During our 6-hour session, we focused on one room that she named The Ladies’ Lounge – a space with soaring 22′ high ceilings designated for formal entertaining and socializing. This expansive room was a blank canvas that was begging for architectural detail on the walls and the addition of color through furnishings and decor.

Working with some of the clients’ existing furniture pieces and lighting, we sourced new furnishings, lighting, and rugs to complete the space. We also created some quick sketches of applied moldings to add details to the walls, followed by a scaled technical drawing to confirm all the dimensions and details.

The client is now working with her own contractors and trades to bring our design to life.
