While this modern farmhouse no longer has faux shiplap (we tore it down at the client's request!) the rustic barn doors bring farmhouse charm and soften the white and blue modern kitchen. A poorly-designed peninsula was replaced with an oversize island with quartz countertops, perfect for this family's three young kids. Brass pendant lights add a glamorous element of contrast. (We also gave the laundry room a mini-makeover and snuck a small home workspace for mom in a closet!)
